Wheelchair-bound transport services shall be provided to patients who require transportation while seated securely in a wheelchair. Transports of this nature shall be done via specially equipped vehicles outfitted with a hydraulic lift for wheelchair transports. 

 

TPOCTS staff will assist the patients to/from bed to the wheelchair 

Load the wheelchair into the vehicle via the lift. Secure the patients and wheelchair for transportation utilizing appropriate safety devices to provide a comfortable, dignified means of transport.

 Accomodation for obese patients with oversize wheelchairs is available within our lift and wheel base specifications. (contact us for specific size and weight limitations).

 

All wheelchair van operators are a licensed driver meeting all Department of Transportation (DOT) driver requirements.
